Rocket man of India, Dr. K. Sivan, Chairman at ISRO

We are very proud of you and your team at ISRO, sir.

You are the modern frontier, invoking the pioneer spirit that marked India going big in Space science and scientific developments. The success of Chandrayaan-1 project changed the course world sees us now. And I’m sure we are having some breakthrough in the upcoming Chandrayaan-2 as well.

From a poor farmer’s son to an aerospace engineer and scientist, then to be known as the ‘Rocket Man’ of India, your journey is truly inspiring in every way, sir. It was your expertise that helped ISRO set the world record of launching 104 satellites in a single mission into the orbit. Americans, Russians, and Chinese now don’t just underestimate us, but also try to understand the economics behind such massive & expensive projects.

The important fusion of science and our everyday life activities, makes our brain go into fission on how scientists like you simplify the complexity of so many things. Something we fail to appreciate quite often.

People who enjoy the comfort of riding in Ola/Uber, yelling at the drivers for not being at the exact location, forget to be actually thankful for the technology that exists in the very first place without which we’d still be riding bullock carts. The satellites that give us High-speed internet, geographic locations, weather forecast, and what-not has made our lives easy to live and relish.

As a software engineer, I and my people get a lot of credit for creating some amazing software applications, but we are actually thankful to the scientists like you for being the real back-bone of such technological advancements. Posting in this very image wouldn’t be possible without your work which resulted in Cloud Technology that created Facebook and Instagram.

I just not hope but believe and confide that science and scientists like you will best continue its service to the nation, to the people, to the world, in the years to come.

Thank you so much for everything, sir.
All the very best for Chandrayaan-2.
